Coaches List and Swimtopia Webinar Reminder
May 2, 2022 Teams, Below is the updated list of coaches who have completed their requirements for background checks and coaches certification. Please check the list to see if your coaches are included. Please note, coaches under age 16 will not be listed in this list, due to limits on background checks for them. If you have any questions about this, please e mail at [email protected]. Please note some coaches have used a different name for the course and the check, so we are having to manually cross check those so there many be some missing names. Coaches Certification Completed List as of 5-2 The most recent list of coaches who have completed background checks is available at The first list is everyone who has completed the SLS Coach Certification Course and passed with a score of 80 or above. If your coach is 15 or under and is on this list, he or she is now a member of Summer League Swimming. If your coach is not on this list, he or she must complete and pass the course. Background Completed List as of 5-2 This list is all coaches 16+ who are now officially members of Summer League Swimming. If a coach is 16+ and not on the list it means he or she has not completed the course or background check or both. Swimtopia Webinar Reminder Swimtopia - Meet Maestro (Saturday May 7, at 10 am) – This is the product that will replace Hy Tek Meet Manager. It covers Swimtopia and how to setup your meets merge your entries and ultimately run and score your meets in the Swimtopia system. This is why as many of your people (coaches included) that can take part in this training the better. We will be condensing many of the topic areas and will include direct links to Swimtopia's library of help topics along the lines of our former Team Manager training links shortly. Please be sure to try this system out over the coming weeks so you can hit the ground running when the season starts. Also included are some links to Meet Maestro documentation, there's a very large section of our Help Center that is devoted to Meet Maestro. Teams should begin looking into this now, so they can be prepared for our next webinar on Meet Maestro, the platform that is replacing Meet Manager. This includes the following sub-sections: Getting Started with Meet Maestro And we also have a section for the Mobile App, which includes how-to information for admins and parents, plus examples of ways teams can let parents know about the app. Other Upcoming ASA Training May Ribbon Distribution and Meet Procedure Review - Weds. May 11 at 7 pm at Marist . Teams can pick up their ribbons for the season on this date. This meeting will be in person and is specifically designed to walk teams through the process of running a swim meet.
