| Teams,
Several teams have
asked if they need to list their team coordinators as coaches to get a
credential for the meet. Please do NOT list yourself as a coach. Each team
will be provided several extra deck credentials that you can use in any
manor you see fit, to allow deck access to help manage your team during the
meet. Therefore you should not list yourself as a coach unless of course
you completed the background check and coaches certification. Which if you
have not, you are getting in line for a fine from the league.
Please be sure to
send in those coaches names ASAP if you have not done so already.
Thank you for
submitting your team status for the ASA Championship meet. That will help
us get a jump on assigning volunteers and team areas for the meet. As I
referenced in an earlier e mail we need teams to provide us the names of
their coaches who will be attending this year's championship.
As we did last
year, we are requiring teams to submit the names of all of your coaches who
will be attending the meet. This includes any non-swimming coaches, and
assistant coaches who may or may not be swimming in the meet. We do not
need to know the names of any of your junior coaches age 15 or younger.
Teams MUST submit these names in order to receive a credential for the
meet. Please visit Coach Credential Request to provide us with that information. The deadline for this is Wednesday, June 22.
Please note, any coaches submitted who have not completed their required
background check and coaches certification will not receive a credential
for the meet, an will be subject to a fine from ASA.
Full meet
information for this year's championship can be found by clicking on ASA Championship Page . There you will find a link to the
full meet information packet and other pertinent meet info. On that same
page there is a link to the GRPA State Qualifying info, you can use that
link to find out information about how your swimmers can qualify for state.

Thanks and see you
