2023 ASA Coaches Meeting Recap and Recording

Coaches,

Thanks for taking part in this weekend's rules clinic. I hope you found the information helpful as we head into another summer league season. A recording of the meeting can be found at Coaches Zoom Meeting Recording . The presentation notes are found at Coaches' Meeting Presentation Notes.

Please remember, coaches are required to attend one of the two mandatory coaches’ meetings on either Sunday, May 21 or May 28. The last opportunity to meet this requirement is this coming Sunday Ma 28. At least one member of your coaching staff must attend one of the rules meetings or your team is subject to a fine from the league. If they participated in the April rules Zoom meeting they have met this requirement. Both meetings will have a virtual option (as well as in person). Both meetings will be available in person at the Marist School at 3970 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. We will likely be in the main gym (Centennial Gym) at the back of the Marist campus. I strongly encourage teams to send as many of their coaches as possible to the meeting though, as it covers a great deal of pertinent info on the league and this season.

Ribbon Pickup

Teams will have several options for ribbon collection. Teams can pick them up next week's ribbon pickup/meet procedure meeting, your coaches can pick them up during one of the coaches meetings, or we can deliver them to you (for a fee). Please refer to the following form to select the option that best fits the needs of your team Ribbon Pickup Form .

Marist has asked that we not come onto campus until then, due to school being in session. They have been gracious enough to provide us a central location for teams to swing by, please show your gratitude by following these instructions. Please do not try to come to Marist outside of the remaining scheduled pickup times during the coaches meetings to collect your ribbons.

Marist is located at 3790 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., the pool is at the back of campus. Please make sure to take the correct team box, there is a label sheet in the top of each box that lists the team name, as well as all of the contents of the box. Please check your box to make sure what is listed on your team's box is what is in the box. If your team received significantly fewer or more ribbons that what is listed on your box, e mail me and I will make arrangements to fix any goof ups on my part.

If your team cannot come pick up ribbons on that date, teams may also pick up their ribbons during either of the coaches meetings on May 21 or May 28, or have them delivered (for a fee). Please make your choice via the form link listed above
