Dear ASA Swimmers and Families,
We wanted to make sure you all were aware of an exciting opportunity to see some of the fastest swimmers in America this week at Georgia Tech. What a great opportunity to jump start your summer swim season by seeing some of our swimming idols as they have a final tune up before Olympic Trials, along with many international swimmers looking to qualify for Paris at this meet. This will be an exceptional event that combines world-class competition with a heartfelt cause. The Speedo Atlanta Classic, driven by Jim Ellis Cadillac, is set to take place from May 15-18 at the iconic 1996 Olympic pool at Georgia Tech. It’s not only a chance to see swimming stars like Caeleb Dressel, Katie Ledecky, Bobby Finke, and Atlanta Swim Association alums like Polo Fields and current Virginia Cavalier Jack Aiken, but also an opportunity to contribute to an important initiative.
Volunteering as a Timer for our swimmers aged 13 and older, we have a unique opportunity to be on the deck with these heroes. This role puts you right at the edge of the pool, close to the action, where you can watch and learn from the best swimmers in the country.
