ASA Ribbon Pickup and Coaches Meeting Reminders

We are closing in on the 2024 swim season. A couple of quick reminders about our upcoming coaches' rules clinics and ribbon pickup. If you have not yet picked up your team's ribbons you have a couple of options. You can pick them up in person at Marist on Sunday May 19 or 26 during the coaches rules clinics, or you can have them delivered for a $40 fee. Details on how to indicate how you will get your ribbons is listed below. Also, if your coaches did not participate in the April rules clinic they MUST take part in one of the two rules clinics remaining. One of those is tomorrow, Sunday, May 19 at 3 pm at the Marist School. The other is offered next Sunday, May 26 at 3:00 pm. Both meetings have an in person and Zoom option. Details are listed below. The in person meetings will be in the Marist Centennial Center Gymnasium (not the Aquatic Center).
Ribbon Pickup
Teams will have several options for ribbon collection. Teams can pick them up during one of the coaches meetings, or we can deliver them to you (for a fee). Please refer to the following form to select the option that best fits the needs of your team Ribbon Pickup Form .
Marist has asked that we not come onto campus until then, due to school being in session. They have been gracious enough to provide us a central location for teams to swing by, please show your gratitude by following these instructions. Please do not try to come to Marist outside of the remaining scheduled pickup times during the coaches meetings to collect your ribbons.
Marist is located at 3790 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., the pool is at the back of campus. Please make sure to take the correct team box, there is a label sheet in the top of each box that lists the team name, as well as all of the contents of the box. Please check your box to make sure what is listed on your team's box is what is in the box. If your team received significantly fewer or more ribbons that what is listed on your box, e mail me and I will make arrangements to fix any goof ups on my part.
Coaches’ Meeting/Rules Clinic
Please remember, coaches are required to attend one of the two mandatory coaches’ meetings on either Sunday, May 19 or May 26. At least one member of your coaching staff must attend one of the rules meetings or your team is subject to a fine from the league. If they participated in the April rules Zoom meeting they have met this requirement. Both meetings will have a virtual option (as well as in person). Required Coaches Meeting - A mandatory coaches meeting for rules review that at least one member from each team’s staff must attend one of the offered sessions. (Dates: Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Marist Pool or Sunday May 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Marist Pool).

I strongly encourage teams to send as many of their coaches as possible to the meeting though, as it covers a great deal of pertinent info on the league and this season.
Meet Schedule Updates/Changes
If your team has agreed to change the date of your meet, please update the league by using the link Meet Change Request to notify us the new date of your meet. This will allow us to ensure your meet has an official for the correct date.
Please notify the league of any changes to your schedule ASAP.
Warm weather has thankfully arrived on schedule, I can't believe we will be kicking off the season in less than 3 short weeks. I hope your seasons are getting off to a successful start. As always if you need anything, please don't hesitate to call or e mail.
