    Big Swim Meet Coming to Atlanta October 17-18

    Teams,

    Georgia Tech will be hosting a knockout-style dual meet
    tournament this fall. The meet scheduled
    for October 17-18. We are sharing this
    info with you in the hopes you will pass it along to your teams and swimmers as
    an opportunity to see some world class swimming.

    The format will feature eight teams, including Georgia Tech,
    NC State, Auburn, Minnesota, Georgia, Army, Florida State (FSU), and George
    Washington (GW). These teams feature
    some of the top swimmers in the world, many of which competed at the recent World
    Aquatics Championships this past summer.

    Seven dual meets will be contested throughout the
    competition, with the first four being scored head-to-head between two teams.
    The winners of those meets will advance to round two, where two more meets will
    be scored head-to-head, with the winners advancing to the final competition.

    Friday, Oct. 17 Meets (These will be conducted in both
    competition pools)

    For the 2nd Wave round 1 at 10:30 am, here

    Saturday, Oct. 18 Meets (The 5th and 7th
    place meets will be conducted in both competition pools simultaneously. The Third Place and First place meets will
    take place in the main pool)

    7th Place: Meet
    Starts: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

    5th Place: Meet
    Starts: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

    Third Place: Meet
    Starts: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

    Tournament Final: Meet
    Starts: 2:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
