Teams,
We are just about there, the start of the 2026 swim
season. I am thrilled to report we have arrived at our first meet and
I wanted to take time to wish everyone the best of luck with this summer
season. Thank you so much for making this work for your swimmers, your
families and the swimming community as a whole. Below is your
schedule of officials for Week 1 meets. Please be sure to check
with your scheduled official before your meet to confirm their
participation as well as communicate any details about your
meet. Each week your ref schedule will arrive
a few days prior to your meet. Please remember
each team splits the $100 cost of the official's pay and try to save a
parking space for your ref to allow them to get on deck quickly.
Swimtopia Reminders I have condensed most of the content from our webinars on how to best use Swimtopia and Meet Maestro into a quick reference guide. This is akin to our Hy Tek Online Training resources we had for teams in the past. You can view this info at ASA Swimtopia Guide . I hope you find this info helpful. One thing some coaches struggle with is the process for entering swimmers in extra events, specifics on how to do that can be found at Entering Swimmers in Extra Events ASA Week 1 Officials Schedule - Click Here for Ref Schedule
A couple of quick reminders for everyone. First and
foremost, HAVE FUN, I am certain the kids will. If we keep that
as a priority, then everything will work great. Play nice and play
fair. A full recap of Swimtopia’s Meet Maestro tutorials can be
found at Swimtopia Tutorials and
Training Videos.
If you have not done so already make one last check of your
team page at ASA Team Info Pages to
ensure all of your info is correct. It should include the address of
your pool, water depth specifications, contact info (e mail and phone
numbers) for your team reps, assistants as well your coaching
staff. This info is crucial for your opponents to have to stay in
contact about your meets.
Finally, don't forget that the home team has to call or e
mail in your team scores when the meet is done. As always, if
there is anything I can do to help you this summer please don't hesitate to
call or e mail. Again, I wish everyone the best of luck this
season.
Take care and best of luck this summer!
Thanks, |
