There will be a REQUIRED coaches/reps meeting, it will be
done virtually via Zoom several Saturday, June 13 at 1 pm. . A
team rep or member of your coaching staff must be present at this
meeting. Teams failing to do so will be subject to removal from the meet
or a $250 fine.

removal from the meet or a $250 fine.
Friday, June 12 - Deadline for ASA
Scholarship nominations. Please remember only one letter per nominee,
please do not have multiple people from your team submit nomination
letters. ASA is pleased to provide two $750 scholarships to be
awarded to an eligible graduating senior, male and
female, planning to continue their education after high school. Our goal
is to encourage our swimmers, help promote the positive benefits of
swimming, the importance of community involvement and offer educational
support.
Eligibility will be based on the following selection
criteria:
Must be a graduating Senior and registered in the ASA swim
league
A written Letter of Recommendation must be e mailed to the
league coordinator for the swimmer to be considered
Points scored in the ASA Championship Meet (individual
& relays events)
The scholarship will be based on the combination of the
above criteria and will be presented at the conclusion of the ASA
Championship meet. The deadline for nomination letters is Friday,
June 12.
Friday, June 12 - Deadline for Thomas
Benefield Coach of the Year Award Nominations. Please remember only
one letter per nominee, please do not have multiple people from your team
submit nomination letters. Teams are encouraged to submit a nomination
letter via e mail to the league coordinator for the coach that they feel
merits this award. This letter will weigh heavily in the selection of the
recipient of this award.
Below is a recap of information we
recently sent regarding the upcoming ASA Championship
Coaches Name Submission
Teams participating in the meet must submit the names of
all coaches (who are not also swimming in the meet) by Wednesday, June 17
at 6 pm.
If
you fail to do so, they will not be allowed on the deck for the
meet.
Teams must submit the names of all coaches age 15 and over
who will be attending the meet by Wednesday, June 17 via Coach Name Submission and
Credential Request
You only need to submit the names of your coaches who are
NOT swimming in the meet.
All coaches attending the meet must have completed the
required background check (for coaches 18 & older) as well as the
coaches certification course (for coaches 17 & older).If you fail to do so, they will not be
allowed on the deck for the meet.
Friday, June 19 at 1 pm - Entry
Deadline for ASA Championship Entries. Do not be late.
