Another week in the books, and it seems like a requirement
for it to rain on a Tuesday. Thursday teams got their moment this
week though with Arthur. Thank you to everyone for being proactive
in dealing with a challenging situation. I can see a light at the
end of the tunnel, I just hope it’s not an oncoming bus. A lot of
great swimming this week, a good preview of the big finale next week.
I hope everyone closes out on a high note next week with some dry
weather and fast swimming. Please remember it is an absolute must
that you e mail or phone in your meet score the minute your meet ends
next week. We have to finalize dual meet trophies, and your meet
score is a crucial part of that. Please
check your team’s dual meet record and let me know if anything is amiss.
ASA Championship information will
be updating in a fast and furious frenzy over the next 48 hours. First
and foremost, be sure to get your entries in on time. They are due
tomorrow, Friday, June 19 at 1 pm. Once I have all entries in, I
will publish, psych sheets, entry lists (that should be up by late
tomorrow afternoon /early evening.
Once entries are in, the meet will be
moved into Hy Tek to interface with the scoreboard and timing equipment
at Georgia Tech. While the meet will appear in Meet Maestro DO NOT USE THAT FOR HEAT SHEETS, ENTRY LISTS OR OTHER
MEET REPORTS IT WILL BE WRONG. Because
of this the meet will not be listed in your Swimtopia Mobile Ap, it will
however be posted in Hy Tek's Meet Mobile, which most people still have
access to. We will e mail entry lists and heat sheets to teams several
days before their session. YOU MUST USE THE VERSIONS OF THE MEET REPORTS
(HEAT SHEETS AND ENTRY LISTS) FOR YOUR TEAM IF YOU DO NOT IT WILL BE
CHAOS FOR YOUR TEAM
From there I will follow with workers and warmup
assignments, team seating, building entry times and a summary of your
credentials. The will all be posted on the website https://asa.swimtopia.com/championship
, please review the info and make sure you get your entries in on
time. You will very likely grow tired of all the e mails you will
get from me about the meet, but please read them, as they are there to
hopefully keep you informed and make your meet run as smoothly as
possible. Don’t be bashful about sharing all of this info with your
team. Most of the info I send you can be followed in the Latest News
link on the league web page, feel free to pass that along to everyone.
Championship Meet Reminders
Heat Sheets - One thing missing
from your team packs this year that would normally be included will be
heat sheets. With this year’s meet and the advance entry deadline we will
be e mailing teams a pdf version of the heat sheet, as well as post it on
asa.swimtopia.com. TEAMS MUST PRINT THEIR OWN COPIES OF THE HEAT SHEET
FOR THEIR OWN USE. Print as many as you want. We will NOT provide any
heat sheets for teams this year, and they will not be on sale. As I
mentioned, you can print your own for the price of FREE. In an effort to
reflect any late entries or corrections, we will not send or post the
heat sheets until about 48-72 hours before your session, so please don’t
pester me about when you will get them. I will also make available entry
lists including the heats and lanes for your swimmers for quick reference
and to give you a chance to get a jump on getting heats and lanes on
their bodies.

Yes, I went there again with the yelling in highlighted
bold caps. Please don’t foul this up.

ASA Divisional and Championship T Shirts
ASA has a new partner with Sy Max Apparel this
year. They will be providing ASA Championship t shirts and a broad
line of specially designed items for this year’s big meet. They will
again be onsite at the meet, and will be setting up an online shop for
this year’s meet. This is a great addition as it allows everyone on
your team to purchase souvenirs from the meet, even if they can’t make
the big meet, or they can make purchases even after the meet. The
link to view their online store is ASA
Championship Merchandise . More info on
the league championship follows below.
ASA Championship Photography – River Oak Phototgrapy
We are happy to welcome our photography provider River Oak
to this year’s meet again. River Oak Photography will be taking live
action photography of your swimmers throughout the
championship. Please forward to your families, so that you can sign
up for their spot in advance of the meet. There will be very few
'day of meet' reservations available. riveroakphotography.com/reserve-online/asa/info

“fall” season in 2026. This season is targeted (but not limited to)
swimmer’s age 8 and under -13 and over and will have 5 meets will be on
Saturday mornings and are tentatively scheduled to begin Saturday, August
15– Saturday September 12. Age groups will be 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-12,
